For the last couple of years, Skål International Kolkata 127 team is giving its best efforts towards making a voice that cannot be unheard of. Due to some sincere efforts by the team members, the presence is being felt in the national and international arena. Now the national and international tourism players want to come to Kolkata and work with the city players as the true potentials of Kolkata and Bengal at large as a travel market hotspot have been discovered by them. Skål International Kolkata 127 intends to intensify its efforts with more inclusive partner activities in the coming days to restore its overall business growth.

Today Skål International Kolkata 127 has 208 members who are the crème of Kolkata travel industry including top travel agents, tour operators, senior management of hotels, the representatives of domestic and international airlines, tourism and hospitality institutions, corporate travel management companies, representatives of international online travel companies and the travel media. The Skål International Kolkata 127 is one of the most active Skål clubs in India continuously engaging and networking with the international and national tourism boards, hotels, airlines and many other tourism-related service providers towards improving the business of the fraternity.

The Skal international World Congress 2022 will take place from 13 - 18 October 2022 in Rijeka - Opatija, Kvarner Region, Croatia
In an attempt to revive tourism and reboot the travel business in the eastern part of India, the Skål International Kolkata elected its new executive committee for the season 2023 – 2024. The new Skål International Kolkata committee elected Sk Amin Asghar as the President, Sk Punam Arora as the First Vice President, Sk Phalguni Parikh as the Second Vice President, Sk Avijit Sarkar as Secretary, Sk Avanti Basu Chattoraj as the Treasurer, Sk Amit Sachdev as Director of Communications & PR, Sk Rohini Paul Saikia as Director of Membership Development, Sk Subir Kumar De as Auditor, Sk Sreemoyee Mitra as Director of CSR and Sk Sneha Mukherjee as Director of Young Skål Kolkata.

Skål International Kvarner is the host club for this 2022 edition, which will welcome all Skål International world delegates in mid-October.​Tamara ÄŒerneka, Skål International Kvarner President, states: “It is our honour to host you at the 81st Skål International World Congress in Kvarner Region; in Opatija and Rijeka.
